Inside the door
Open the door of your product, the rating plate sticker should be visible on the inner top or side section. The information usually required by our customer service team are the model number which is 8 digits long (beginning with a 3), and the serial number which is 16 digits long.
- There is a white film on glassware that is difficult to remove

Tablet formulation scenario
Check that rinse aid and salt are topped up if you are using these separately. If you are using a 3 in 1 or similar tablet formulation, find out if your water supply is particularly hard or not. If it is hard then extra salt may need to be added to boost the water softening effectiveness, or alternatively you might find it more cost effective to use separate detergent, rinse aid and salt.

This is caused by sauces such as curry, carrot, pasta and bolognaise, scrape items before loading and use a pre rinse cycle.

Maintenance wash
Dishwasher internal pipework and spray arms can get coated with hard water salts and food deposits. This can cause the machine to smell, to solve this problem run the machine through a long hot programme with a dishwasher cleaner. Hoover candy produce a suitable cleaner which may be purchased from the Spares Department - details can be found on this web site.
- Error codes or flashing lights
- There is a matt colourless film which is not easily wiped off
- Granules of sandy like residues appear on the crockery
- Milky or etched glassware
- Poor wash results / food residue on the crockery
- Rust marks have appeared on the cutlery

Ferrous metals
This can be caused by washing a ferrous item with the stainless cutlery, causing a rusty look. Ferrous items such as tin openers, cast iron pans, saucepan lids with ferrous screws holding the lid handle, are amongst some of the items that can cause this problem.
