The life span of your textile pads is determined by many things including how often you use your steamer or how hard the floors are. The best way of deciding if you need to replace the pad is: if it is still dirty after you have washed it then it is time to replace it! We recommend that you wash the pads in your washing machine on a 40 degree wash cycle with normal washing powder, please do not use bleach or fabric softener to clean the pad.
