Empty the dust box

Once the dust box is 2/3 full it will need to be emptied to ensure that the cleaner works effectively. This is easily done by taking the dust box off the cleaner by lifting the carry handle.

Place the dust box over your waste bin or a bin bag and press the release button as shown...  The bin empty flap will then open - shake the bin to remove all of the dust and dirt.

Keep the cyclonic unit clean

First remove the dust box and empty it out over your dustbin or into a bin bag. Lift the handle to take it off the cleaner

Now open the top of the dust box to get to the filter. Take out the filter and turn the blue star shaped nut anti clockwise. Why not take this opportunity to wash the filter in warm water to get the very best results from the Globe cleaner? Be sure to make sure it is thoroughly dry before you put it all back together.

Now pull the cyclonic unit out from the bottom of the container as shown. Wash it out in a bucket of water and leave to dry thoroughly before re assembly.

Give all of the filters a good clean

The filters on the Globe cleaner will need to be cleaned regularly to keep the cleaner working efficiently and picking up all of the dirt. Start by removing the dust box and emptying it out of your dustbin.

Next open the top cover and remove the blue filter. Wash this in warm water.

There is a second filter found on top of the base of the cleaner. Take this off and wash in warm water. All filters should be thoroughly dry before re fitting. To keep the Globe working effectively its a good idea to replace the 2 filters and new ones can be purchased from our spares site.
