Tilt the machine forward, the rating plate sticker at the bottom of the machine will have the details required. The information usually required by our customer service team are the model number which is 8 digits long (beginning with a 3), and the serial number which is 16 digits long.
Try and fit a new bag. If it is full the machine may become noisy
Remove the exhaust & pre motor filters
Brush out any loose dust and then wash in warm water
Allow 24 hours to dry before re fitting
Remove the top cover and inspect the brush roll to ensure that it is clean and no debris has become wrapped around the brushes
Check that the selector is set the the right setting for the thickness of the carpet pile
Check the belt has not snapped. Turn the cleaner over and switch on - the brushes should be turning. look at the belt check section if they are not
replace the paper bag - there may be a hole in it
Remove & clean the pre motor filter found under the bag and exhaust filter at the back.
Brush out loose dust, wash in warm water and allow to dry for 24 hours before replacing
Make sure the socket is switched on, try another appliance in the socket to see if there is power at your socket
Replace the fuse. Try a fuse from another appliance that is working
Always use a 13 amp fuse
Remove the hose from the product. Look to see if any debris has blocked it. Try dropping a coin down if it comes out at the other end then the hose is not blocked
Open the bag door the pre motor filter is found underneath the paper bag
Dust away loose debris, wash in warm water & allow 24 hours to dry out
The exhaust filter is found at the back of the product. Remove loose dust with a brush and then wash in warm water
Leave to dry for 24 hours before re fitting
Fit a new paper bag
The product is fitted with a safety cut out, this will switch the cleaner off if it gets to hot
This may be because the bag is full or the filters are blocked
look under the 'poor suction' section for assistance
Remove the exhaust filter and brush away any loose dust. Wash in warm water & allow to dry.
Remove & clean the pre motor filter. Brush away any loose dust & wash in warm water.Allow 24 hours to dry & then re fit
Turn the claener onto its side & switch on. The brushes should be spinning.
If they are not check the belt - it may have broken and may smell of burnt rubber
