Cuts out
- Thermal cut out
  - A thermal cut out on the motor will operate to protect the motor if the airflow is insufficent. The thermal cut out will reset after approximatly 30 minutes. Check the canister is empty the hose is not blocked and filters are clear.
Poor suction/poor pick up
- Empty canister
  - Empty canister
- Check for blockages
  - Remove hose and check for blockages by dropping a small coin down the tube. If clear coin will come out the other end.
- Check filters
  - Check all filters and clean if necessary.
No power
- Check socket
  - Plug in another appliance to the socket to check for power.
- Check fuse
  - Change the fuse for a 13 amp rated fuse.
Cord does not rewind
- Cord rewind
  - Pull cord out until almost fully extended and retry pushing down on the cord rewind. The cord may need some helping for the last few cm's.
Noisy
- Partial blockage
  - The tone of the motor may change if there is a blockage in the hose or the filters or canister are blocked. Empty container and check filters and hose.
- Check canister
  - Check cansiter is correctly fitted as air may be escaping.
