Ensure that all hoses are connected properly. Also, check that the Collection bin is fitted snugly

Empty the collection canister and refit securely.

Unplug the product, check around the brush roll area to see if carpet fibre or other objects are rattling around the base.

Make sure the front door is securely attached.

Select a higher setting for the height of the brushes.

Clean the exhaust filter. This is released by the taking off the rear panel located at the back of the machine.

Remove the collection canister dismantle and clean all the filters as shown, the gauze filter will need cleaning with a dusting brush from your product.

The foam and cartridge filter may be brushed or washed clean, if washed they should be left to dry before using in the machine.

Try plugging the product into another socket.

Change to another 13amp fuse.

Check for blockages in the hose. Twist the hose anti clock wise to release it from the rear of the product. Drop a coin or similar down the hose to see if there is a blockage. Clear out if blocked with a broom handle or similar.

Clean the pre-motor filter situated below the paper bag.

Change the brush roll and or drive belt, remove the hood screws, which are situated adjacent to the rear wheels.

Lift the hood off.

Change the drive belt even if it is not broken, because they do stretch with time. Before changing the belt roll the brush to see if it rotates easily. If it is stiff to rotate or the bristles are thinned out or damaged then change the brush roll as well.

A thermal cut out will operate if the motor is too hot. This will reset after approximatly 30 minutes. Check all filters and empty the box.

Clean the exhaust filter. This is released by removing the collection container and pressing the filter button. This filter is cleaned by washing and allowing to dry.

Clean the pre-motor filter situated below the paper bag.

Unplug the product turn the cleaner over and check aorund the brush roll area to see if there is a build up of hair or similar objects that can give off a burning smell. See section poor suction poor pick up item D for access to brush roll area.
