Regional Manager - Built in Appliances

SOUTH EAST

The Hoover Candy Group is introducing its biggest and best ever ranges of built in appliances and to support our progress we have a permanent vacancy for a Southern Regional Manager for our Built in Appliance Team. Location is southern counties with good links to the motorway network.

The successful candidate will report to the Sales Director, and will be selling into the major kitchen manufactures, kitchen specialists and builder merchants, dealing at head office level with buyers and brand managers; the ideal candidate must understand the key role of wholesale distributors partners in supplying this varied customer base. This role will initially be focused on account management to maximise on existing relationships, whilst winning and developing new accounts. Ideally utilising existing contacts, the successful candidate will be an outstanding relationship builder, with the ability to sell our full range from entry level to premium product. We need a tenacious closer who is seeking to make a name for themselves through continued sales success.

  • Must have a history of successful sales preferably in the appliance built in sector.
  • Experience of handling some of the following would be preferred; wholesale distributors, builder merchants, kitchens manufacturers, kitchens specialists.
  • Success is either newly opened accounts as planned or successfully increased volume/product listings by negotiation.
  • Candidate must be able to overcome obstacles and be determined to succeed.
  • Excellent people skills and relationship building is essential.
  • Ability to develop and identify new business.
  • Strength in communication and negotiation.
  • Ability to deploy the successful strategy of Hoover Candy built in sector.

The candidate will mainly have to;

  • Plan and implement the key account strategy to achieve the sales objectives agreed by the business.
  • Develop customer strategy and relationships.
  • Negotiate pricing and product specification/details.
  • Deliver against an aggressive growth budget.
  • Develop new business in developing sectors and feedback future development opportunities to the business.
  • Previous experience 3-5 years minimum in a similar Sales role with the types of customer highlighted. Target driven and motivated to smash figures.
  • Determination and a strategic approach to win business at all levels.
  • Excellent organisation skills.
  • Tenacious closer.
  • Strong communication, influencing and interpersonal skills.
  • Good commercial awareness.

In addition to a basic salary of circa £35-£40k depending on experience, 40% bonus potential linked to the Built in sales budget, you will also be entitled to a package including 25 days annual holiday and Company bonus scheme, Company Car, Blackberry, laptop.

Service Team Manager

YORKSHIRE & NORTH EAST

This role will provide the successful candidate with the opportunity to coach and motivate a team of field based white goods Service Engineers. Our Service Engineers enjoy the flexibility of working from home while organising their spare part stock and workload to ensure the efficient repair of Hoover Candy products in our customer’s home.

Our product range includes: washing machines, tumble dryers, dishwashers, refrigeration products and vacuum cleaners. We are looking for an experienced people Manager with a positive and flexible attitude who has the skills and experience to lead and motivate a team of Service Engineers generating high levels of performance.

An understanding of field based management, delivering key performance targets, including delivery of business priorities and operating standards and how they impact on performance will be essential.

We are particularly interested in hearing from candidates from within the white or brown goods industry.

A full time position has arisen within the Commercial Marketing department for a Finished Goods Buyer reporting to the Marketing Director UK/Procurement Manager Italy.

Based in Reading, Baumatic is a member of the Hoover Group. A boutique and dynamic player in the domestic appliance industry, currently in a phase of growth, we are looking to appoint a Finished Good Buyer.

The successful candidate will manage all aspects of the Baumatic brand’s finished goods worldwide purchasing.

Job summary:

Assessing market and industry conditions, owning best negotiations of cost, quality and service levels.

Following trends and progressing range architecture with the commercial team.

The successful candidate will be required to carry out the following duties;

  • Identify and manage the right suppliers based on the products to be purchased
  • Define and negotiate general conditions of supply based on cost, quality and service level
  • Verification and management of the suppliers reliability
  • Purchase budget control in terms of variance
  • Establishment of a correct partnership with the suppliers
  • Establishment of a good cooperation with the team (marketing, quality and R&D) in order to guarantee a coordination of all the steps of development and of corrective actions
  • Continuous scouting of new suppliers and alternatives
  • Be proactive in solutions (products and processes)

The following skills are required;

  • Minimum 1 year’s experience in product management or direct procurement roles.
  • Ability in priorities definition and management
  • Fluent spoken and written Chinese not critical but an advantage
  • I.T. literate (Office, Email, Internet)
  • Ability to work is part of an international team
  • Knowledge of factory management and structures an advantage

Inside Sales Account Manager

The successful candidate will be highly outgoing, enjoy building long-lasting relationships where trust is a vital component and constantly looking for the next sale or customer to talk to. This is an ideal opportunity for a self-motivated individual who can demonstrate a minimum of two years business to business selling, either in the field or over the phone.

With over 500 staff in the UK, the career prospects are excellent, and should lead to a Field Sales role within two years for an ambitious achiever.

The successful candidate will be required to carry out the following duties;

  • Schedule activity around calling existing customers with promotions.
  • Build relationships with new customers, many who will have bought from another Division of the Company.
  • Maintain contact with existing customers to ensure a strong level of customer care routine is established and maintained.
  • Accept orders, close sales, maintain customer’s records and complete required documentation.

Head of SDA Marketing

The Hoover Candy Group is introducing its biggest and best ever range of vacuum cleaners and to support our progress we have a permanent vacancy for a Head of Marketing for our Small Domestic Appliance Division. This role will have a particular focus on Communications as well as leading the UK SDA Marketing team of five employees. We are looking for an individual who will drive forward the communications activity raising the brands profile with both Trade partners and the consumer.

  • Ideally from a strong classical brand background you must be able to demonstrate experience of working in a Senior marketing role for a minimum of 5 years in a professional marketing organisation. Experience of product and channel management essential.
  • Maximum focus on product range evolution looking at all market opportunities short and medium term by price point and by channel across all product groups in floorcare, Ironing and Steam.
  • Significant experience of successfully managing the launch of product, pricing and promotional activity. Must be able to manage tight budgets innovatively for maximum effect.
  • Effective and attractive communication of new products to the trade and consumer is an important aspect of this role using a variety of mediums.
  • Experience of managing social media opportunities, writing targeted copy for use in print and SEO and managing advertising compliance.
  • Coordinate media interest and ensure regular contact. Manage the relationship and effective spends with PR agency. Selecting, and managing agencies, including annual reviews against KPIs and contract negotiations.
  • Develop, implement and monitor systems and procedures necessary to the smooth operation of the marketing/communications function.
  • Deliver communications strategies that align with business objectives.
  • Significant expertise on all matters relating to marketing, public relations and communications.

  • Production of sales briefs, to support brand, range, product and promotion strategies. To also include monthly ‘Golden Nuggets’ to publicise positive Hoover Candy Group trends in the market and trade channels.

We therefore have a permanent vacancy for a National Account Manager for our Small Domestic Appliance Division.

The successful candidate will report to the Commercial Director, and will be primarily selling into the DIY retailers and National Discounters while also working on new Business Development opportunities at head office level with Senior Buyers. This role will initially be focused on account management to maximise on existing relationships as well as new business development in exploring additionally winning new accounts that are suited to our product portfolio. The successful candidate will be an outstanding relationship builder, with the ability to sell our full range of products from entry level to more premium offerings. We need a tenacious individual who is seeking an opportunity to develop themselves within a challenging environment.

  • Must have a strong track record in sales.
