Check the brush roll is spinning around

To check the brush roll is spinning around, simply switch the product on and tilt it over to see if the brushes are rotating . If they are not, the drive belt may have snapped and need to be replaced. If they are turning the brush may simply need a clean, switch off the product and unplug it then remove any hair or debris that may be tangled around the brush roll. We recommend that you change the belt even if it is not broken at least once per year and the brushes when the bristles have worn down. Doing this keeps your cleaner working efficiently. To do these checks turn the cleaner over and using a standard Phillips screwdriver remove the 7 screws that hold the brush cover in place.
