Is the handle tilted?

The cleaner will not steam if the handle is upright. Recline the handle by pressing the foot pedal to release the handle and after a few seconds the steam will come out automatically. The steamer can only be used on flat flooring surfaces with the handle reclined.

Replace the water filter

Underneath the water tank is a water filter. It contains beads that purify the water and prevent harmful lime scale deposits from getting into the boiler. If this has become clogged then the water will not flow into the tank and no steam will be made. The picture shows the beads clean and fresh looking light in colour. If they are dark or brown in colour this indicates they are clogged and the filter requires replacement

The filter sits behind (centre ) it contains yellowy brown beads and once these go to a dark or brown colour the filter will need replacing to ensure the product continues to make steam. Replacements can be purchased from the spares section of our website.

Check there is water in the clean water tank

Remove the tank and twist the fill cap anti clockwise to remove. Fill the tank - do not add any chemicals. Re fit the cap and place the tank back onto the cleaner. After 30 seconds the product should start to steam, as long as the handle is tilted. On the full steaming setting you should get up to 20 minutes of steaming action
