Always disconnect your appliance from the mains before you start examining it!

Base panel is missing

Check it has not been discarded with the transit packaging

Black or dark stains

Is the waste pipe connected to your sink?

Door won't open

Is there dry only programme on a washer dryer?

Yes

Is there 'spin only' cycle?

Yes

Jumping and vibrating when spinning

Have the transit bolts been removed?

L1, L2 or L3 in the display

This is not a fault

Leaking

Check the water hose is not leaking

Clean the filter seal

Make sure the door glass is clean

Mould build up on the door seal

Clean your machine with a maintenance wash

No electrical power

Check there is electricity at the socket

Check the fuse in the plug

Noisy

Check for loose articles in the drum

Check the pump filter

Have you removed the transit bolts?

Load is too small or unbalanced

Whistling noise

Check that it is level: are all 4 feet touching the floor?

Check there is a clearence gap around the machine

Not drying the clothes

Sensor dry cycles are not suitable for drying 1 item

Not filling with water

Check that the water supply is turned on

Check the water fill pipe is not trapped or twisted

Check the filter on the back of the appliance

Has the spin been turned off?

Load is too small or unbalanced

Have you chosen a quick wash programme?

Check the drain pump filter is clean

Not taking the soap powder or conditioner

Clean the soap drawer

Not washing properly

Are you using a quick wash cycle?

Have you overloaded the machine?

Have you chosen the most suitable programe?

Programe cycle seems to take a long time

The load may have become unbalanced

The time shown at the start assumes you have put a full load of clothes in the drum

Selecting one of the option buttons can make the cycle take longer

Large loads will take longer to wash

Rusty brown marks on the clothes

Contamination in your water supply

Is the machine connected to your sink?

Perform a maintenance wash cycle

Clean the soap drawer and dispenser

Sometimes spins and some times it doesn't?

The wash load size may be too small

Spins during the drying cycle

Taking to long to dry

Reduce the load size when tumble drying

Where is the fluff filter?

Washer dryers do not have a fluff filter

Won't dry

Reduce the load size

Remove the tray and clean inside

Keep door seal clean and dry

At the end of the cycle whipe the seal dry with a cloth
