May need defrosting
Non Frost free freezers will need to be defrosted at least twice per year on average, or when the ice becomes excessive. Empty the contents out, switch it off and carefully use the plastic scraper to remove all of the ice. It may take a few hours to completely defrost.
Always disconnect your appliance from the mains before you start examining it!
