Do not place baking trays on the floor of the oven

Before you start using your oven ensure any cooking trays and pans have been removed from the bottom of the oven space. Always place food on the shelves, never in trays on the bottom of the oven. The  heat transmitted from trays and pans may cause damage to the enamel coating of the oven if they are placed directly on top of the surface of the oven bottom.

Don't line the oven with kitchen foil

Covering the lining of the oven may lead to damage and cracking of the enamel coating. The foil will focus heat into the enamel creating excessive heat within the liner.
