Regular cleaning of your oven cavity will prevent the build up of unpleasant fat and food deposits. Hoover have produced a wide range of products designed to be used in your oven. These products are not suitable for pyrolysis self cleaning ovens. If you have a self cleaning oven please refer to the user manual for cleaning instructions for your oven.

Non self cleaning ovens can be cleaned with warm water and an oven cleaning solution. Please look at our helpful video for further product information. All our cleaning products can be purchased via Care + Protect website.

Porous catalytic coating absorbs fat and vapour from cooking. It  self cleans by turning the fat to ash. Simply wipe the ash away with a damp cloth. The lining can be cleaned by wiping with hot soapy water. They have a fixed life span and may discolour with age and eventually need to be replaced. The linings can be removed and cleaned by wiping with hot soapy water, please do not use any oven cleaners to wash the catalytic linings.

Fat and food can vaporise onto the enamel surfaces of the oven. A greasy gunk builds up on the walls of the oven and racks. This can easily be cleaned off with our oven cleaner which can be purchased from our consumable website Care + Protect.

Turn the oven selector to program 'P' shut the door and switch on the oven. The door will now lock and remain locked until the cleaning cycle is completed. This process takes around 2 hours after which a small pile of ash may be left in the bottom of the oven. Simply wipe this out with a damp cloth when the oven is cool. Please do not use any oven cleaners inside the oven cavity.
