The location of you fridge freezer is very important. If the the temperature of the room is too cold then the fridge will simply not turn on. This means the food in the freezer will start to defrost. As a guide the temperature of the room should not be colder than 10 degrees C.Examples of a cold area could be a garage during the winter or a cold pantry or kitchen. If the appliance shuts down then heat the surroundings or consider moving you machine to a warmer part of your home. Hoover do not recommend installing fridge freezers in garages.
