Cracking noise - This is normal if your freezer is frost free.

Your freezer will defrost its self usually once a day and during this time the ice melts. Just like when ice cubes melt in a drink a cracking sound may be heard. This is perfectly normal.

Making gurgling/whooshing/hissing noises

As your appliance works the refrigerant moves around pipe work in the back. It may be heard to whoosh, gurgle or sound like a mild hissing. These noises are normal to keep the temperatures correct inside the machine.
