This is normal

Many of our cooling products give off heat through the sides of the cabinet. They may get quite warm to the touch from time to time and this normally indicates the product is working fine. If you have plugged the appliance in for the first time or stocked up with food it is normal for the sides to feel hot but then cool down as the product temperatures stabilise inside the cabinet. Placing your product in a hot room or during the summer months may also make the sides feel hot. Also check the temperature setting of the product - turning the thermostat to 'max' or above number three will also cause the sides to feel hot.

Pipe work found at the back of the product may also feel warm sometimes and this is also perfectly normal. Please make sure that there is adequate ventilation around the product, we recommend at least a half inch gap all around the outside of all of our cooling products.

Always disconnect your appliance from the mains before you start examining it!
