check this connection is not leaking

Also check that the connection to the tap is not leaking, it may need to be tightened up.

water pipe connection to the cold tap

There should be a small round black washer inside the connection at both ends of the hose, if leaking persists then check the washer is not missing. We always recommend you fit the new fill hose supplied with your product instead of using any old pipes that were fitted to previous machines.

If you have recently removed the pump filter for cleaning and find it has started to leak when you re fitted it then simply drain away the water and clean the filter seals as shown here.

Some pumps have a white seal which has an additional sealing face at the inner part of the filter as shown here. Clean both this extra seal as well as that shown for the other style of filter. Before re fitting smear some washing up liquid or hand wash soap liquid around the seals to get a nice tight fit. The filter is tightened sufficiently when the handle piece in the middle of the cap is horizontal. (please see image below)

Turn the filter clockwise until the handle in the middle is horizontal as shown

Make sure the door glass is clean

A build up of lime scale, fibres and debris can occur on the door glass of the machine especially in hard water areas. This can prevent the door sealing tightly and leaking during the wash cycle. Simply use a cloth and some kitchen cleaner to wipe away any build up round the glass in particular the bottom of the door glass.
